Professional Experience
Carol Austin began her legal career in 1983 and served on the in-house legal staff of several organizations, including the Board of Regents for the State of Tennessee, prior to joining the firm in 1992. She has an undergraduate degree in Business and a background in business and finance, which enables her to provide advice and counsel on business and financial matters as well as a wide variety of regulatory issues that affect business organizations.
In addition to providing consultation services, Mrs. Austin concentrates her law practice on business formation and commercial transactions, government contracts and compliance, and regulatory law. She also provides advice and counsel on business issues to a number of non-profit organizations.
Mrs. Austin has extensive experience in research, writing and editing and assists businesses with drafting policies, procedures, handbooks and other business documents.
She also provides consultation and advice on real estate and agricultural issues and transactions.
